Pharmacists have been encouraged by pharmacy boards and professional organisations to voluntarily participate and record their involvement in continuing education (CE) for many years.

A professional career requires the involvement of each graduate in lifelong learning and the integration of new skills and knowledge into practice.

shpacpd is designed to meet all pharmacy board requirements for re-registration for those currently working. It will also assist those on extended periods of leave or working in other unrelated professions, by facilitating access to a range of member services so that a pharmacist can remain current, informed and connected to the profession.

Education Reference Group

shpacpd is overseen by the SHPA Education Reference Group (formerly the Division of Education).  The Education Reference Group comprises Councillor Rebekah Moles (Chair), Supporting Councillor Ian Coombes, Neil Keen, Chris Alderman, Chris Doecke, Jeff Hughes, Neil Cottrell and Rohan Elliott.
